Departure by bike to discover the modern and bohemian districts of Lima, Miraflores and Barranco. The route passes through picturesque streets lined with houses of artists of yesteryear, parks and art galleries.

Lunch on your own in Lima.

Departure by bus in the direction of Paracas (approximately 3 hours 30 of road) During the journey, you will be able to discover the arid landscapes of the Pacific coast.

day 4: Paracas / Nasca
Departure from your hotel in direction of the port for the tour to the Ballestas Islands by boat.

Thanks to the Humboldt sea current, this small archipelago is home to a unique biodiversity. Thus, during this tour, you will be able to contemplate the local fauna located in a preserved setting such as colonies of sea lions, penguins as well as many species of sea birds.

day 6: Arequipa
Day at leisure in Arequipa. You can go to the Mirador, by a small city bus, and admire the beautiful surrounding volcanoes, including the famous Misti. Otherwise, visit some Alpaca factories.

In the afternoon you can make more cultural visits to the most prestigious sites of the city such as the Monastery of Santa Catalina, the Cathedral, ...

day 7: Arequipa / Colca canyon
Departure by tourist bus by the road that leads to the Colca Canyon in the heart of the Peruvian Andes dotted with peaks and volcanoes until the great descent of Chivay. Passing through the area of Pampa Cañahua, natural reserve of vicuñas and other Andean camelids (Reserva nacional de Salinas y Aguada Blanca).

Arrival at Cabanaconde and lunch .

Departure of the trekking after lunch. Descent to the bottom of the canyon.

Departure from San Juan de Chucco, then hike over the canyon to Sangalle.

day 9: Chivay / Puno
Departure around 4:30 a.m., to avoid the heat and reach the village of Cabanaconde.
After breakfast, departure at the cross of the condor (30' trip from Cabanaconde) by collective bus. Stay on the site (about 3/4 h) to admire the flight of the condors. Road to Chivay.

Lunch on your own in Chivay.

After lunch, you will leave by local bus line in the direction of Puno (6 hours trip). During the trip, there will be several stops to discover the biodiversity specific to this region, including several species of Andean birds.

day 10: Puno/Uros/Amantani
Departure by boat to discover Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, with the visit of the Uros Islands archipelago, made up of about forty islands made of a base of braided aquatic plants, and reinforced with reeds of the lake, the "totora".

You will continue the journey towards the island of Amantani, where you can appreciate Lake Titicaca from a belvedere, located at the top of the hill. There you will discover the different activities of the island's inhabitants, including agriculture with many terraced crops, goat and sheep breeding, as well as the handicrafts that have gradually developed, together with tourism.

Late lunch (included) at the host family's house in Amantani.

day 11: Taquile / Puno
After a typical breakfast in your host family, you will take the boat to Taquile Island.

Taquile is a peaceful island with lush green hills, all a contrast to the bright blue of Lake Titicaca. This will be an opportunity to discover the customs and traditions of the island's inhabitants, who have a high quality textile tradition.

Return by boat to Puno after lunch.

day 12: Puno / Cusco

07:30 am: Beginning of the train trip from Puno. On the way, the train climbs from Puno in a zig zag, towards higher and cooler altitudes. The first part of the journey overlooks the phenomenal Andean mountains, which overlook the deep valleys of the winding Vilcanota River. It then crosses the undulating plains of the Andes. If you travel on the Titicaca train, the panoramic car with its glass walls will allow you to fully admire the wonderful landscape.

day 13: Cusco
Departure by local bus to the site of Tambomachay (3700 m). Then walk to discover the main archaeological sites around Cusco: You will visit the ceremonial baths of Tambomachay. Then, your way will continue with the visit of the fortress of Puka Pukara, as well as the ceremonial site of Q'enko. You will finish the visits with the most known: the fortress of Saqsayhuaman. The walls of this site are created with huge stone blocks: For more than 500 years, this site has remained unchanged. Continuation on foot to Cusco (3304m).

day 14: Sacred valley by bike
Departure by bus to the village of Pisaq, visit of the village and its market, then preparation to start your bike tour through the Sacred Valley,

A long and quiet bike ride through the breathtaking scenery in this millennium valley and on a flat road, to appreciate the local crops, especially corn, and the organization of towns, local restaurants, etc., along the Vilcanota River that in this valley takes the name of Urubamba.

Transfer from your hotel to Ollantaytambo train station.

Travel by train to Aguas Calientes (about 1h40).

You will take the bus to go to the site (about 20 min).

The guided visit to the site, takes about two hours; a dream of every traveler, a legend that has not yet delivered all its mysteries. The organization of the site in several districts and the geographical constraints of the area underline the greatness and the genius of the Inca civilization... After the guided visit, you will have free time to walk freely on the site and to impregnate you with its magic.

Attention: The optional visits of the Montaña or Wayna Picchu are only after a night in Aguas Calientes.

Return by bus to Aguas Calientes (about 20 min).

Departure by train to Ollantaytambo (about 1h40).

Transfer from Ollantaytambo train station to the sacred valley.

Visit to the sacred valley Discovery of the fortress of Ollantaytambo. Moray is a site formed by concentric circular terraces. The Maras Saltworks are made up of more than three hundred terraces on the mountainside; salt is extracted from them thanks to a supply of salt water from the ponds.
