Nazca
The famous Nazca lines... They continue to fuel the wildest speculation. Designed from the sand and rock of the dunes that surround the city itself, they form strange geoglyphs, animals, geometric shapes, etc. The best way to appreciate the scope of the work is to fly over them in airplanes, for a circuit of about 30 minutes. In addition, several museums explain the history of these signs and the civilization of the same name that would have traced them between 300 BC and 800 AD; other archaeological remains of primary interest border the city; and a huge nature park begins there and extends towards Cusco. The city has become hypra-touristic, but its treasures are really worth it.
