day 2: Paragliding in Lima ?
Free day in Lima : We suggest you to initiate you to paragliding.

Would you like to discover Lima from a new angle and are not afraid of the sensations? Go for your first paragliding experience in Lima! Flights can be arranged every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., subject to weather conditions.

You will have the chance to overlook the entire Costa Verde on board your paraglider for a few minutes.

Transfer from your hotel to the bus terminal accompanied by your guide.

13h30: Departure by line bus to Paracas (3h30 trip approximately). During the trip, you will discover the arid landscapes of the Pacific coast.

day 4: The Ballestas Islands and Buggy at the Oasis of Huacachina
Departure from your hotel towards the port.

You will discover by boat the Ballestas Islands, located in the heart of a bay. Thanks to the Humboldt marine current, which favours the proliferation of plankton, this small archipelago is home to a unique biodiversity.
Thus, during this walk, you will be able to contemplate the local fauna located in a preserved setting such as colonies of sea lions, penguins as well as many species of seabirds.

Departure by private vehicle to Nazca (about 4 hours drive).

Stop along the way to discover a traditional bodega in Ica, where we will discover the production process of Pisco, national alcohol.

You will then continue the road to the Huacachina oasis. Located in the middle of the desert, it is an exceptional spectacle that this water point surrounded by palm trees and dunes, straight out of a comic book.

A funny introduction to buggy riding through the dunes of Huacachina, combined with sandboarding. A pleasant way to discover the desert coast and the refreshing oasis of Huacachina.

You will then continue on the road towards Nazca.

day 6: Rafting at Arequipa
Departure either in the morning or in the afternoon from your hotel to the Chili River, only 20 minutes from Arequipa.

You will be accompanied by your guide to the base of operations where you will be provided with the necessary equipment: Neoprene suit, helmet, lifejacket, and Neoprene shoes.

You will then head to the starting point; the cave of the Virgin of Chapi.

For about an hour, you will face rapids, from class II to IV, over 6 km and discover the splendid landscapes of the Chilina Valley. Note that it is not necessary to have experience in rafting because you will be supervised by professional guides who will be able to teach you the necessary gestures and techniques.

Enjoy its pleasant climate by having a drink on one of the many terraces, strolling through the white alleys or visiting the shop of an antique dealer. But Arequipa's charm lies in its warm, lively atmosphere, full of students, artists and small parks full of freshness...

Transfer to the bus terminal accompanied by your guide.

08h30 : Departure by line bus to Puno (about 6 hours drive).

The gradual ascent to the Altiplano leads to splendid landscapes of altitude, populated by numerous herds of llamas and alpacas. On the way you may have the opportunity to admire several high altitude lakes that are home to many species of ducks and flamingos.

Arrival in Puno from where you can enjoy the famous Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world.

Transfer to your hotel, accompanied by your guide.

day 8: Departure for the community of Llachon and kayaking in Llachon
Departure, accompanied by your guide, by private vehicle from Puno to reach the Capachica peninsula. This trip takes about 2 hours.

You will enjoy a canoe trip on the waters of Lake Titicaca accompanied by your guide.

Starting from the community of Llachon, you will follow the coasts of the peninsula, from beach to beach, surrounded by totora, this Andean reed, the basic material for the making of the typical floating islands of the Lake.

A beautiful way to enjoy the deep waters of the highest lake in the world while taking advantage of the horizon cut by the peaks of the Andes Cordillera.

day 9: Llachon / Titinos / Taquile / Puno
After breakfast, departure by boat head to Taquile island.

Visit the Titinos islands. like the Uros, these are floatings islands built on reeds. in front of the Capachica peninsula, and less visited than the Uros ones, so more friendly and authentics.

Visit the Taquile island.
Taquile is a peaceful island with green hills, contrasting to the light blue of the Titicaca lake.
This will be an opportunity to discover the customs and traditions of the island's inhabitants, who have a high quality textile tradition.

The typical costume, reflecting civil status and function in the community, is also a particularity that the inhabitants will be proud to share with you. For example, women wear bright colours when they are single, and dark colours when they are married. Men wear red and white hats when they are single and red when they are married.

day 10: Crossing the Altiplano from Puno to Cusco
Departure from Puno to Cusco by bus.

You will cross the great scenery of the Andean highlands, making several stops at different sites of interest.

You will discover the lithic museum of Pucara, which portrays the evolution of the Andean people from the first men to the Incas.

Then you will make a stop at the Abra la Raya (4335 meters). There you will discover the majestic Cordillera Real, in the heart of the South American mountain range.

Stop for lunch in Sicuani.

Visit to the site of Raqchi where the Inca temple of Wiracocha, the creator god, is located.

Finally you will visit Andahuaylillas. This small town is famous for its early 17th century church, known as the "Sistine Chapel of South America".

During this day, we recommend you to visit the Temple of Gold, or "Coricancha" in Quechua; as well as the impressive colonial cathedral, whose construction began in 1559 and lasted nearly a hundred years.

A trip to the city's main market, San Pedro, which is always bustling with activity, will be an opportunity to soak up the local atmosphere!

day 12: Visit the 4 archaeological sites of Cusco and horseback ride
Departure by private vehicle to the Q'enko ceremonial site that you will visit before sealing your horses and discovering the other archaeological sites around Cusco.

You will walk to the Moon Temple, then Chuspiyoq and finish your horseback ride to the Zone X.

Your vehicle will pick you up at Zone X, to head to the ceremonial baths of Tambomachay, dedicated to the worship of water and the gods. Then your way will continue with the visit of the Puka Pukara fortress, with its pinkish colours at sunset.

You will end your day with the fortress of Saqsayhuaman, a site designed to protect the city. The walls of this site are created with huge blocks of stone.

day 13: The Sacred Valley of the Incas
This day is planned in a private vehicle, with a Spanish-speaking driver, without a guide.

Departure from your hotel.

Visit to Moray, a concentric circulars terraces site. They were maybe an agricole laboratory. The local populations reproduced (artificially) different climates in order to assess the production capacities of the area.

You will continue your visit to the Maras Salt Flats, fabulous contrast in the heart of the valley.

The salt works consist of more than three hundred terraces on the mountainside; salt is extracted from the basins through a supply of salt water, where the water evaporates and leaves a thin layer of solidified salt, hardened by the sun.

You will discover the salt extraction mechanism (visit time: 30 min approximately).

Visit of the Ollantaytambo fortress. The strategic geographical location of this last Inca stronghold allowed them to resist the Spanish; the remains of the fortress bear witness to the clashes that took place following the loss of Cusco to the conquistadors.

day 14: Inca Jungle : Cusco - Abra Malaga - Santa Maria
Early in the morning, between 07:45 and 08:00, departure by shared vehicle from Cusco to Abra Malaga (pass at 4350 meters high), from where the beginning of your descent by bike will take place. This route is only composed of asphalted roads.

Have breakfast before you leave or bring something to eat on the road.

All the necessary equipment will be provided on site. This bike ride lasts about 4 hours, or 55 kilometres, only descending to the Wamanmarca. On the road, you will have the opportunity to encounter both the snow-covered mountains and a tropical environment. You will move from a relatively cold climate to a more tropical climate!

You will finish your descent in the village of Santa Maria (1200 meters above sea level). You will settle in and spend the night there. Lunch will be provided.
In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to rest after this first morning and the effect of the altitude, or to continue with a rafting activity (optional).

Cycling time: 3 hours.
Positive altitude difference: 0 meters.
Negative altitude difference: 3150 meters.

Overnight in a basic hotel, on the Inca Jungle.

day 15: Inca Jungle : Santa Maria - Santa Teresa
Today, you will leave for Santa Teresa.

This is the first day of walking in the Inca Jungle. You will walk between 8 and 10 hours depending on your pace. You will make several stops on the way, especially in communities where local families will welcome you to share a moment together. You will learn more about Peruvian customs and traditions.

You will continue your journey along the railway lines, ending in the last Inca refuge called Vilcabamba. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the Incas.

You can enjoy the beauty of the coffee and Coke crops and harvests.
Lunch planned in the village of Quellomayo where you can take advantage of it to relax in hammocks before resuming your walk.

After lunch, you will only have two hours of walking left before reaching the thermal baths of Cocalmayo where you can relax after this long day of walking!

You will then reach Santa Teresa (1550 meters) with your private transport, where you will spend the night.

Walking time: Between 8 and 10 hours.

Overnight in a basic hotel, on the Inca Jungle.

day 16: Inca jungle : Santa Teresa - Aguas Calientes
Early in the morning, before joining Aguas Calientes, you will have the opportunity (option) to do the zip line, for the most adventurous among you!

Once the Zip Line activity is over and breakfast is taken, you will leave to reach Aguas Calientes (2040 meters). You will have about 3 hours of walking to reach Hydroelectrica.

A meal will be provided. Throughout your hike, you can admire the magnificent surrounding mountains of Machu Picchu.

You will then leave for a few hours of walking before arriving in Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night before leaving to discover one of the seven wonders of the world!

day 17: Inca Jungle : Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Departure from the hotel early in the morning by bus to visit the archaeological remains of the citadel of Machu Picchu.

The visit of the site will last about two hours, then you will have free time to stroll in the site, to rest or to try the ascent of Huayna-Picchu, this rock spur which offers a panoramic vision on Machu-Picchu (not included) .

Dream of any traveler, legend has not yet delivered all its mysteries, the citadel of Machu Picchu continues to captivate and seduce the visitors in search of magic. Its particular geographical situation gives it an insolent and intoxicating beauty.

The organization of the site in several districts and the geographic constraints of the region underline the greatness and the genius of the Inca civilization ... Many mysteries remain to break through.

Walking back to Aguas Calientes (1 hour walk) or by bus (at your expense) .

An excursion to the Rainbow Mountain is highly recommended.

Vinicunca, the "rainbow " mountain culminates at more than 5000 meters of altitude.

You will also be able to observe breathtaking landscapes such as the Ausangate Mountain as well as alpaca and llama farms.

You can also take advantage of this day to visit the Laguna Humantay or Palccoyo the second rainbow mountain in Cusco.
