This museum is specialized in the explanation and exhibition of pieces from the Inca Empire, and presents a very detailed overview on everything that is available about the Inca culture. There are ceramics, tissues, jewels, objects and daily utensils (for example, an important collection of wood cups, the geros), as well as mummies. It is organized into several parts: the pre-Inca period, the Inca period and the Empire destruction.
