day 1: Arrival in Lima
Arrival of your international flight.

Transfer to the Miraflores district, just a stone's throw from the Pacific.

Overnight in Lima.

day 2: Visit Lima by bike
Depart from your hotel by bike to discover Lima's modern, bohemian districts: Miraflores and Barranco. You'll have the opportunity to appreciate local contemporary art and modern crafts in the local art galleries, with the bay of Lima and the Pacific in the background.

Transfer to the airport and flight to Arequipa.

Overnight in Arequipa.

Free day to discover the wonders of Arequipa.

day 4: Colca Canyon
Departure for the Colca Valley in a shared vehicle.

On the way, you'll pass through the Salinas and Aguada Blanca nature reserves (4,300 meters above sea level), where you may catch a glimpse of herds of llamas. You'll cross the Patapampa pass at an altitude of over 4,900 metres.

After lunch, you'll visit the La Calera thermal baths, perfect for relaxing.

It's highly recommended to take some time off at this point, to acclimatize more easily to the altitude.

Overnight in the Colca Canyon.

day 5: Colca, meet the condors
You'll head for the Cruz del Condor lookout by tourist bus.

From this rocky peak, you can enjoy an incredible panorama of the majestic canyon, and watch the impressive flight of the condor.

You'll then descend the canyon along the left bank, passing the Antahuilque and Choquetico viewpoints.

You'll have the opportunity to discover several traditional villages, including Maca, Achoma and Yanque, with its colonial "baroque" church.

After lunch, take the tourist bus to Puno.

day 6: Llachon Community
Depart Puno for the Capachica peninsula.

On the way, visit the Sillustani site and its "Chullpas", circular tombs used for ceremonies in the pre-Inca era, dominated by the Collas.

In the afternoon, take a walk along the peninsula to discover the traditional agricultural way of life of this part of the Altiplano, and enjoy the tranquility of the lakefront.

day 7: Llachon, Titinos and Taquile Islands
Departure by boat for Taquile Island.

Visit the Titinos Islands. Like the Uros Islands, the Titinos are islands built from reeds.

Visit Taquile Island.

An opportunity to discover the customs and traditions of the island's inhabitants, who have a high-quality textile tradition.

Return to Puno by boat after lunch.

day 8: Puno/Sicuani via Tinajani/Kanamarca
A day dedicated to crossing the Altiplano, a vast expanse of land dedicated to llama and alpaca farming.

On the way, visit the Tinajani Canyon. Over 200 hectares of superb rock formations created over a million years ago.

Traditional lunch in the village of Ayaviri included. Enjoy Kankacho, a traditional roast mutton dish, in a small local restaurant.

Drive to Kanamarca (3950m): A pre-Inca archaeological site, belonging to the K'ana culture. This warrior people played a crucial role in the great Inca Pachacútec's victory over enemy armies, marking the beginning of the Tawantinsuyo empire's glory days.

day 9: Visit to Palccoyo (Mountain of Seven Colours)
We drive towards the Andes peaks, approaching the colorful Palccoyo mountain (5000m). This lesser-known and therefore less-touristy mountain lies in the same valley as Vinicunca. Stop at the parking area at 4500m.

On the way, you'll marvel at the famous Vallée Rouge.

After lunch, we return to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

day 10: Machu Picchu
Depending on train schedule. Transfer to Ollantaytambo station.

Train journey to Aguas Calientes. Shuttle bus to site entrance.

Visit Machu Picchu, a traveler's dream and a legend that has yet to reveal all its mysteries, the citadel of Machu Picchu continues to bewitch and seduce visitors in search of magic. Rediscovered in 1911 by American explorer and archaeologist Hiram Bingham. Its unique geographical location lends it an insolent, intoxicating beauty. Many mysteries remain to be unraveled.

Shuttle bus back to Aguas Calientes

Train to Ollantaytambo.

Transfer from Ollantaytambo station to the Sacred Valley.

day 11: Visit to the Sacred Valley
Visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo. The carved stone walls, the organization of the village and the architecture of the houses and buildings remain much the same.

Visit the Moray site, made up of concentric circular terraces.

Continue on to the Maras salt flats, a fabulous contrast in the heart of the valley.

Visit the village of Chinchero, high up in the valley, famous for its textiles and its church with its naturally dyed murals.

Overnight in a hotel in Cusco.
