Hot springs in Chivay

It is located at few kilometers to the north of the village with the same name, at the beginning of Colca canyon. the hot springs of Chivay are the most noticeable (and the most pleasant) expression of the regional geothermic activity. The concentration in micro-nutrients and ores make this water the cure to many pains. There are two bathes at 38° degrees, infrastructures like showers, changing rooms, bar-restaurants and even a small museum! That makes those hot springs an ideal relaxing excursion after (or before) the discovery and the trekking in the narrow ways of the Canyon.
