Paths (pedestrian) were the only way to communicate inside the gigantic Inca Empire from South of Columbia to Chile. Among all those traced paths, the Inca Trail was the main road and mode used between the imperial capital, Cusco, and the major spiritual and cultural site of Machu Picchu. So, constructions between these two important centers are numerous; today, by walking in the Inca messengers’ steps, you cross an important quantity of rests, ruins, habitations, diverse constructions installed to improve as well as possible communication from a part to the other high snowed peak of the Andes.
