Walnut (Juglans neotropica)

Large tree 15 to 20 meters high that grows in the Andes between 1000 and 3000 meters above sea level, and has a high quality wood. The trunk is often used to make good quality guitars. The women of the villages use infusions of these leaves to dye their hair black and thus hide the white hair.
