The maned sea lion or sea lion

Otaria flavescens Weight : About 300 Kilos. Present on the South American coast from Ushuaia to the Ecuadorian coast, it lives in a group with a dominant male. It is easily observable when it takes the sun in the afternoon on the rocky beaches of the Ballestas Islands.
