The Giant Hummingbird

Patagona gigas As its name suggests, it is the largest hummingbird with a weight of 18g and a length of 30cm. Contrary to the others, the giant hummingbird has rather dull colors and beats its wings more slowly, like a butterfly. It feeds on the flowers of the Puya Raimondi and the Nicotiana glauca plant.
