Chalanque (Myrsine latifolia)

It is a very difficult tree to see because it was almost completely decimated by the intensive exploitation of its wood, it is 8 to 12 meters high. It is now visible only in protected areas or regions like the park of the Inca Trail, the gateway to Machu-Picchu.
