day 1: Departure to Bolivia and departure for a cruise on Lake Titicaca.
Morning departure by shared bus to Copacabana in Bolivia (about 3 hours drive).
The bus will pick you up at your hotel between 06h00am and 06h30am.
Border crossing and arrival in Copacabana. Brief visit of the Santuary of the Virgin of Copacabana. Then boarding in one of the catamarans towards the island of the sun. A snack will be served on board.
Arrival on the island, cradle of the Inca Empire, where the visit will begin with the Fountain of the Inca, which feeds an aquatic garden composed of several terraces.
Then, you will continue with the archaeological complex of Inti Wata and the underground museum of the Ekeko ("God" of fortune and abundance).
Visit also the traditional medicine and boat building center of Totora, the local reed.
You will end the visit with a tour on the lake in a traditional boat made of totora, which allows you to observe the Inca palace of Pilkokaina from a distance.
Return to Copacabana aboard the catamaran enjoying a buffet lunch and the majestic panorama of Lake Titicaca.
Transfer by bus to La Paz.
Arrival in La Paz around 19:00/20:00.
Dinner at leisure and night in La Paz.
