The Cordillera Huayhuash

In the shadow of its neighbor celebrity, the famous Cordillera Blanca, this range is not a poor second to win its great sister. Glaciers, rock peaks and altitude lakes, passes at 4500 m. It is reputed to be the hardest to climb, and even more salvage because is less frequented; therefore, proof of this is the presence of condors, which is still very important. Interesting detail: this is a protected area, ruled by the communities themselves: so you directly support them when you take one of the different available treks, made on several days or by skiing of climbing its glaciers.
