Misti Volcano

With its 5822 m, the volcano overhangs the entire city, as a giant guardian. It is easy to access despite its height. Nevertheless, it is indispensable to be well-equipped with harpoons, picks, etc. Several roads are available to go to this place. The ascension takes one day, from early in the morning to late in the evening. On the top, an iron cross of 10 m high welcomes you and, downwards, a yellow crater throws sulfur dioxide, expression of life of this volcano that is still in activity.
