Huaraz market

Merchants come from all the region of the highlands around Huaraz to sell their local products on the ground or in small stands. Most of them are rural farmers so the clothing traditions are still very present; colorful skirts and braided hair under a felt hat for women and multicolor hats for men. It makes you feel like being inside a postcard picture. The atmosphere is simple and pleasant.
