Cerros de Amotape National Park

This big natural park is an example of an ecosystem of the dry tropical forest. The surrounding logging is a menace for an important number of specific animal and vegetal species of the region; the presence and protection of this small park is indisputable. It is possible to observe jaguars, condors, crocodiles of Tumbes, and also, more often, parrots, river otters and peafowls. Some trees, like the reach 25 m high!
