From the Quechua language “the grandson’s house”,these huari ruins are exceptionally well preserved and have been restored in 2006. This is a copy of Chavin temple, and has a Tiahuanaco style. The stand suspended to the cliff surrounds a funeral mausoleum. It is a pyramid with 3 levels, each one houses 7 rooms. Archaeologists founded mummies there, and the walls are decorated with head in bas-relief. A bit far, it is possible to see several very well conserved habitations. Nevertheless, be careful with the low doors; you should keep your head at a low height to come in.
