Urquiaga’s house

This important colonial house was the property of Simon Bolivar, the Latin-American liberator, during his stay in Peru and during the two years after the country’s independence. It is possible to visit the office he had in this neo-classical edifice where there is some of his personal stuff. Today, the house belongs to the Banca del Peru.
