Real Felipe fortress

In the Port of Callao, this military complex is laden with history. At the beginning, it has been built to protect the new City of the Kings from pirates. Also, it has been the place where Spanish people took refuge before being definitively thrown out from the country by Bolivar during the Independence. Nowadays, the soldiers who are living in have created a military and naval museum, as well as a training base.
