Levanto

It is situated at about 20 km from the city of Chachapoyas. Levanto’s site is another wonderful example of the pre-Inca civilization who lived here between 1100 and 1300. It is possible to notice the circular edifices and the friezes in zigzag, typical of the period as well as the immense canal that crosses the site. Apart from tourism, this place is a testimony of the history you cannot miss.
