Corihuayrachina

This site, recently rediscovered, stands at the top of a hill: Cerro Victoria. About hundred edifices are scattered on the 6 km² of the ancient city: circular houses, funeral houses, agricultural terraces and its granaries, a dilapidated pyramid and a sacrificial table beset with human bones. This center must have been important because an 8 km aqueduct carries water through the dense vegetation of the jungle.
