Aguarunas and Huambisas communities

These communities are the most remote of the Peruvian Amazonia. Those two civilizations live on the shores of the same river, they share the same culture, and similar traditions. They live of hunting, fishing and weaving, but they speak two different languages. As nowhere else, men and women wear cotton skirts. They adopt ritual tattoos and venerate deities of Nature. They are friendly most of the time, but they defend and protect with strength their traditions and any unauthorized intrusion creates an open conflict. As a consequence, there are traditions and authentic persons you will meet over there.
