day 2: Forest of the Lodge / National Reserve Pacaya Samiria
After breakfast, interpretation walk of the flora and fauna in the private reserve (Restinga forest) of the Lodge following the trail of primates and other animals.
Here you will test your spirit of adventure through trails full of biodiversity. The guide will explain the use of medicinal plants and trees.
Lunch at the Lodge
In the afternoon, you will leave for the National Reserve of Pacaya Samiria, in the region of Nauta Caño. During your visit, you will go on an excursion in search of pink and gray dolphins, always in contact with the immense variety of flora and fauna that the reserve offers. The first thing that will catch your attention are the waters of the river that reflect so faithfully the sky, the clouds, the vegetation on the banks and the tall trees, that the visitor has the sensation of navigating between endless mirrors, which is why Pacaya Samiria is also known as "The Forest of Mirrors".
You will also do an interpretive walk of the flooded forests, where you will try to see some primates and sloths. During the trip, you will be able to identify a variety of birds and enjoy a practice of artisanal fishing with the equipment that Amazonian man uses for subsistence purposes.
