Tucume pyramids

This immense complex of 26 pyramids, habitations and walls half destroyed would be one of the principal cities of the Lambayeque civilization. Its morphology suffered numerous modifications through the ages and due to the civilizations that had lived in these places. Researches are still limited because there were no important discoveries yet. We have a good overview of the site from the Purgatory Hill (it owns this name because the Spanish threw the pagan recidivists non-Christians from the top of this hill). This small and very well built museum has the pieces that were discovered on the site.
