The Funeral Complex of Pueblo de los Muertos

It is hung to the mountainside; this narrow natural terrace was used by the Chachapoyas civilization in order to place their dead people. It overhangs the abyss, above Uctubamba River. From the other side, it is possible to see the small houses made of adobe (dried sludge) that contained sarcophagus and bones.
