The Colonial House “Casona Tristán de Pozo”

At the beginning, this colonial house was a seminary built by the Jesuit Order. Then, it became an episcopal palace, and then a school. Flora Tristan’s family (see the paragraph about Peruvian literature) set up her home here, before a bank bought it and inhabited it until nowadays. A fountain with the head of a puma is standing inside, in the middle of a setting with baroque style mixed with local influences.
