Santa-Teresa is a village located between Santa-Maria and Machu-Picchu destroyed at the end of the 90s by floods, consequences of the phenomenon "El niño". From the village, it is possible to join Machu-Picchu by following the railroad and it is one of the points of arrival of the trekking of Salkantay that Antipode proposes.
