Palacio de Torre Tagle

The most surprising example of colonial architecture in Lima. Now the seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We are firstly impressed by the massive façade made of stone at the entrance and then, by the balconies made of sculpted wood with Muslim inspiration, mashrabiya, the door in stone, in a completely baroque style and finally, the patio, surrounded by a colonnade and high columns and balustrades. Unquestionably the most beautiful colonial house of Lima.
