Laguna Verde

The electric blue-green of this lake, permanently windswept by an icy wind, is really amazing from its 4400 meters height! The massive presence of the Licancabur volcano adds something more to the spectacular scenery. Near to geysers, of which the Sol de mañana, the green lagoon constantly changes of colors and reflects, according to winds stoking it, because its chemical components (lead carbonate, brimstone, arsenic, and calcium) never change.
