Laguna Colorada

This lake, red like blood, is one of the most impressive sites of the South of Lipez. Supervised by volcanic peaks, its shores are colored thanks to the deposit of different minerals, such as sodium, gypsum (golden) and magnesium, which makes this lake even more unreal. It is only 80 cm depth, which is why a lot of flamingos chose it as residency. Moreover, the presence of plankton and seaweeds, as well as many minerals, are the perfect diet for these majestic animals, whose presence ends completing the perfect picture postcard.
