Karajia Sarcophagus

It is hung to the mountain side; this funeral site owns 6 human-shape coffins of 2 m high. They were built with different materials: wood, straw and dried land. They stand up, on balconies, above the gap. Some of them have been opened and allow to see some ritual objects inside. This burial method, from 1000 A.D. was reserved to the “greatest” (warriors, shamans, leaders…), and the bones and skulls present on the floor, next to the coffins, would belong to their servants.
