Guadalupe Virgin's Chapel

The chapel of Virgin Guadalupe has been built a few years after the end of the cathedral’s works. Its design was, in the beginning, thought to receive the image of the Virgin, painted by Diego de Ocaña’s brother. While it arrived in Sucre, the image has been well received by faithful, giving it during the procession offerings (rubies, diamonds, pearls, etc…). After a lot of faithful did the same thing and now, there are like more than 18 000 pearls among its richness.
