Cathedral of Trujillo

The edifice was made in a baroque and rococo style, and it dominates the Plaza de Armas: its massive and austere yellow-ochre façade and its impressive pure wooden door give a sensation of imperial majesty. It was built in 1650. The cathedral is decorated with some nice paintings of the School of Cusco. The little museum of Sacred Art that is inside is interesting.
